Each angler will use the online system to enter a red, trout, and a flounder for each month of the tournament. Anglers may update and upgrade their fish as they catch better fish throughout the scoring month, but are limited to a single slam (red, trout, flounder) per month. 11. SCORING. The event uses catch and release scoring determined by the length of each fish with a bonus based on the bait type. Anglers receive 1 point per inch of fish if caught on bait, plus a 10% bonus if caught on an artificial or lure, or a 20% bonus if caught on fly. If the angler catches a slam (red, trout, and flounder) within a given month a 10% slam bonus is applied to the monthly points for that month. Each month each angler can submit a red, trout, and a flounder -- within that month the angler can upgrade those catches if better fish are caught later in the month. Thus over the 4 month tournament there are 12 scoring opportunities for each angler. Only one scoring photo of a fish is submitted for judging, taken by digital camera and made available using the online scoring system. Length is determined from the forward-most point of the fish to the natural un-pinched top of the tail. Fish must be above FWC minimums to count reds may be above the slot limit. Maximum fish size is 44.5", the maximum measurement on the JKF sticker. The judging committee will review the photos to verify reported results and modify them if necessary. The tournament director is responsible for the final call in all matters. 12. DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY. Participants may only use digital cameras for recording scoring fish. Entrants must submit their scoring photo showing the fish on the measuring device with the unique token present in the photo. Fish scoring picture must also have kayak visible. 13. PROTEST.
